Carroll Gibbs

Carroll Gibbs is the co-author of Black Georgetown and is a frequent lecturer on an array of historical topics. Gibbs, who has contributed to the development of several exhibitions, created and narrated "Sketches in Color," a companion to the PBS series "The Civil War." Gibbs wrote Friends of Frederick Douglass, a book for children.

He recently returned from leading 26 people on a 5,000-mile study tour across Africa.
