- Barbara King is pastor and Founder of the Hillside International Truth Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Rev. King comes from a very strong Baptist Church background. She was one of the first Black women pastors in Atlanta, as well as the first female minister to broadcast her ministry via television. Rev. King refers to her church as a New Thought Church. She has authored six books. She talks about the challenges she has faced as a black female pastor.
