- Caption
- This poster functions as both art and advertisement, promoting a class at the New Thing Art & Architecture Center in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, D.C. As a multidisciplinary arts community, the center aimed to empower and transform local neighborhoods in the face of urban renewal projects that displaced minority communities. This bright and vibrant flier was produced with the intent to bring people to the New Thing, and its distribution brought art onto the streets and into the public sphere.
