- This pricing gun was used at La Casita Pupuseria, a widely known purveyor of pupusas and other Salvadoran dishes in the Washington, D.C. area. The restaurant was founded by the Salvadoran-immigrant Arbaiza family in 2002 in Silver Spring, Maryland, after they closed their grocery store, El Gavilan, in the Adams Morgan neighborhood. The store had been one of just a few that sold Latin American and other international ingredients and foods in th 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.
