This round pinback button promoted Bill Clinton and Al Gore's run for reelection in 1996, as President and Vice President of the United States. The pin reads "Clinton / Gore 96" in white and light gray lettering against a blue and red background.
The button is among more than 200 collected by Washington, DC-based environmental justice advocate Vernice Miller-Travis.
