- This round pinback button expressed the support for Ted Kennedy’s 1980 presidential campaign from voters in Maryland. The blue on white pin reads “I’m For Kennedy ‘80” superimposed on the silhouette of the State of Maryland. The younger brother of President JFK, Kennedy was serving as US Senator from Massachusetts when he ran in the Democratic primaries where he was defeated by Jimmy Carter.
