He tells the story of his great-grandfather, Max Weyl, a prominent painter who was one of the founders of the Washington Landscape School; a group of artists who painted outdoor scenes. While Weyl often painted in Rock Creek Park. Listen to Mr. Wolf tell the story of how this former jewelry store owner, who ran a shop on 7th Street, was initially discovered and how he went on to have a career as an artist.
