The exhibition explores innovations in African American contemporary art and how it continues to expand and embrace the use of new computer, sound, and video technology. On view is a diverse collection of 45 works, including interactive installations, video art, found and modeled objects, and paintings reflecting the contemporary Hip Hop culture. Among the featured artists are photographer Jonathan Calm; multimedia artists Daniel H. Hoover and Roy LaGrone; sculptors Jerome B. Meadows and Vera Hope Walston; painter Iona Rozeal Brown; and printmaker Winston W. Harris.
