Support

The Anacostia Community Museum will be closed from January 8, 2024-March 22, 2024. We will reopen on Saturday, March 23, 2024 with our next exhibition, A Bold and Beautiful Vision: A Century of Black Arts Education in Washington, DC,1900-2000. We hope you will join us!

Ways of Giving

The Smithsonian's Anacostia Community Museum counts on your support—now more than ever! While the Smithsonian Institution is funded only in part (60%) by the federal government, nearly half of ACM's exhibitions, research, public programs, outreach, and educational programs are funded through private support. Your gift is extremely important because it provides resources that will make an immediate impact and help sustain the museum's work.

These gifts can provide both financial and tax benefits, and may allow you to achieve much more with your donation than you thought possible.
